Chestnut Hill Real Estate

Chestnut Hill real estate is unlike anything else inside the city limits — Wissahickon schist houses on wooded lots, a genuine main street along Germantown Avenue, and two regional rail lines into Center City. Homes range from apartments and smaller twins near the Avenue to substantial stone houses and carriage houses on land measured in acres. Older systems and historic-district rules are part of the territory here, and both are worth understanding before you write an offer. I've handled a good deal of my larger work in this part of the city.

Historic mansions, Victorian twins and an abundance of greenery make up this lovely scenic northwest section of Philly. Germantown Avenue, Chestnut Hill's main street, is an enclave filled with unique boutiques, art galleries and culturally rich eateries along cobblestone streets. Chestnut Hill is also home to both The Morris Arboretum and The Woodmere Art Museum.
