Alexa, Come To Philly!

Alexa, come to Philly! That's how this works right? The real million dollar question that has everyone talking is will Amazon be coming to Philly? Well, unfortunately we still do not have that answer for you, but what we can tell you is that it seems like a great idea! Back in September Amazon announced that it has plans to build a second headquarters in the US. With this announcement being made, cities all over started showing interest in becoming the home of Amazon's second headquarters and Philly was one of them! And considering Philly's real estate boom, it makes a lot of sense!

Amazon coming to Philly brings many new sources of revenue and many new job opportunities to the city. After doing a little research on this topic myself, I found that Amazon is looking for a city with a population of at least one million, access to mass transit and, and an international airport. Ding, Ding, Ding seems like Philly could be a winner, right?! But where exactly is the city of Philadelphia proposing that this second headquarters should be placed? Philadelphia has given three different possible locations to Amazon. The three options include two locations in West Philadelphia right by Drexel University and University of Pennsylvania and a third location in South Philadelphia at the Navy Yard. 

With this million dollar question leaving all answers still up in the air, we will have to follow up more with this topic to see what city Amazon will call home next!
