How does that saying go? "Spring being a tough act to follow, God created June." Well, when Spring was miserable, rainy and cold in Philly we look to June for brighter, warm and sunny days. This month in Philly we have a lot to look forward to.

Get excited my fellow Philadelphian's because in the first week of June our beautiful city has so much to offer. From Philly Beer Week to PrideDay, and Center City Sips what more could you really ask for?

Just to dig a little deeper into all that is happening....

Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival

This awesome lantern festival is located in Franklin Square filled with 28 beautiful and colorful illuminated lanterns. Not only will you be able to enjoy the lanterns but you will see live performances such as Chinese acrobatics, a beer garden and food, crafts and some shopping. This experience will cost adults $18, seniors and military $15 and kids $12. Be sure to come check this out before Saturday June 30th.

Blue Cross RiveRink Summerfest

ITS BACK! Looking for the perfect date night, evening out with friends or family? Look no further, The Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest has it all from an outdoor roller skating rink, mini-golf, ferris wheel, fun games and yummy food! Summerfest is located at 101 S Columbus Boulevard from now through Monday September 3rd.

Philly Beer Week: Fishtown FestivALE

Another one of our personal favorites is Philly Beer Week and more specifically Fishtown FestivALE. This is an all day long event in Fishtown which will offer a variety of live music, great food from 20 restaurants and various food trucks, shopping with more than 70 vendors, fireworks and so much more! Don't miss your chance to check out this awesome celebration Saturday June 9th from 12PM-8PM located at Frankford Avenue from Girard Avenue to Oxford Street.
